GTX 345DR transponder retrofit
The retrofit package involves the installation of Garmin’s GTX 345DR transponder to satisfy the NextGen airspace requirements for ADS-B “Out” and “In.”
It includes incorporation of diversity antennas on the top and bottom of the fuselage (if not already integrated), enabling a more robust sending and receiving of ADS-B transmissions.
This retrofit provides the safety and efficiency benefits of ADS-B surveillance.
